How it works

After installation, authorize the app with your Slack account and allow access, then start migration with the MIGRATE button. The app transfers users, channels, messages in channels, and attached files from Slack to Bitrix24. Only channels wh ere the authorized user is a member and has access will be transferred; channels outside that access scope and their messages will not be moved. Private chats other than the authorized user's private chats are not exported under any circumstances. On Slack free plans, only a limited number of messages can be exported, so a commercial Slack account is required for the most complete export. You can change the Slack user only before migration starts. If you stop an in-progress migration by deleting the app fr om your Bitrix24 portal, running migration again in the same portal may create duplicate channels, messages, and files. The app is currently in public beta testing, and some features and enhancements are still in progress. After migration is completed, you receive a notification.

FAQ

I need to move Slack history to Bitrix24. What exactly will be transferred?

The app transfers users, channels, messages in channels, and attached files.

Why were some Slack channels or messages not transferred?

Only channels wh ere the authorized Slack user has access and membership are migrated. If the user is not a member, those channels and their messages will not be transferred.

Can the app export private chats?

Only the authorized user's private chats can be exported. Other private chats are not exported under any circumstances.

We use Slack on a free plan. Will all messages be transferred?

No. Slack free plans export only a limited number of messages. A commercial Slack account gives the most complete export.

What happens if I stop migration and run it again?

If you stop migration by deleting the app and then migrate again in the same Bitrix24 portal, duplicate channels, messages, and files may appear.
