Description
Exotel Telephony helps sales teams manage calls inside Bitrix24 without losing CRM context. It is built for businesses that want inbound and outbound calls logged, caller details shown, and lead creation automated. This reduces missed calls and keeps communication tied to CRM records.
Why businesses use it
When calls are handled outside the CRM, teams lose context and spend time searching for customer data. This integration keeps calls and CRM records connected and supports automated lead handling.
Business value
• Less manual logging of inbound and outbound calls
• Faster response with automatic caller details
• Cleaner CRM records with call recordings
• Better lead handling with automated creation rules
Common use cases
• Register inbound and outbound calls in Bitrix24
• Auto‑create leads for unknown numbers
• Show a call card with client details before answering
• Play call recordings inside CRM
• Use callback and click‑to‑call from CRM
How it works
Install the app from Bitrix24.Market, sign in to Exotel, and enter API Key, API Token, Account SID, and API Subdomain from Exotel API Settings. Configure lead creation rules for unknown numbers and a default responsible user for missed calls, then select Exotel as the operator in Bitrix24 telephony settings. For inbound calls, add Passthru and Connect applets in Exotel and set the handler URL for the app. The app works with Bitrix24 commercial plans only. Free plan users can test it during the trial period and then upgrade to a commercial subscription.
